Actually, in Armenian it’s [արքայախնձոր] which translates into “royal apple”. [անանաս] “ananas” is used in dialect, but it’s not considered as an Armenian word. It derives from either Russian (Republic of Armenia) or Arabic (Western Armenia, or the current Armenian diaspora)
